A music platform under every scene.

The scene is how you find it. The platform is how it all runs: the music, the money, the shows and the people, one account, one place.

Membership

$20 a month. Everything's included.

Your membership pays the artists you listen to.

Music in full, scenes, shows, zines, the job board, Studio tools and Scenie are included. Catalog purchases, merch and tickets are bought separately.

Listen
Members hear every track in full. Without a membership, each track plays as a 30-second preview.

Run your career
Release, run your shows and your band from one place.

Work the scene
Book, sign and hire from what really happened, not follower counts.

Zines

Every scene has its zines.

Start a zine for yourself, your band, your room or your whole scene. Write the pieces, put them out in issues, and the people who follow it read each one as it lands.

Pieces
Write about the shows, the records and the people, with the photos.

Issues
Gather pieces into an issue with a cover of its own.

Readers
People follow a zine and each piece reaches them. A piece can be free, or a few cents to read, paid to the writer.

What you keep

100%You set the price. You keep the price.

+5%SceneTown's fee, added on top and paid by the buyer.

You're the seller, and SceneTown acts as your disclosed agent at checkout. The buyer pays SceneTown's 5% and the card processing inside the all-in price they see, and the whole price you set is paid out to you.

How selling works, with a worked sale

Example · a $50.00 beat

Example, drawn to scale with the fee checkout charges. Memberships work differently: they pay the artists you listen to.

The next listener might be an assistant.

When it pays, the people who made it get paid.

For musicians and content creators: one more way to be found, and paid. An assistant that plays, licenses or buys your work pays for it the way a person does, and the money goes to whoever made it. How it works, and what it costs, is on one page.

The first 1,200 are founders.

1,000 fans, 100 musicians and 100 pros.

A founding seat is your way in while SceneTown is invite-only. It doesn't include the membership. Founding seats go out by invitation and are recorded on-chain, so anyone can check them. No personal data goes on-chain.

Fans

Hear your scene.

Every track in full, the shows worth going to near you, and your $20 a month going to the artists you actually play.

Musicians

Get paid by your listeners.

Put your music where your scene is, and get paid by the people who listen to it.

Venues

Your venue is already here.

Every venue is listed in its scene, whether or not anyone there has joined. Someone on your team claims it to run it: show what's on, and see who says they'd go.

Pros

Work the scene.

Bookers, managers, engineers and promoters: post and find work on the job board, and see who's active where, from real shows and real listeners, not follower counts.
